Weather is Changing!
“Do not be surprised that you fall everyday; do not give up, but stand your ground courageously. And, assuredly the angel that guards you will honor your patience.” - St. John Climacus

It is great to have the shift of the weather and finally have a nice spring day. I took advantage of this myself by taking a walk for lunch to clear my head and get some fresh air.
What I love about this time of the year is while everything is coming to life, our souls can energize up to match. God's creation surrounds us and it's important to stop and smell the roses sometimes. It's easy to let the hustling of life consume our attention but to intentionally take a step back, thank and praise the Lord, and let a tranquil moment sit – is just a miracle presented to us that is often over looked.
Here's a reminder: take a break. Take the Psalms outside with you for ten minutes. Close your eyes and feel the warmth. Talk to God. It was recently barren, and now we celebrate the return of life and warmth. Lean into it before we take it for granted again.
A great way to stop an take a minute is to do that with a friend too!
